I’ve noticed that girls in my school don’t wear the socks high…Apparently Singapore schools are like opposite of Japanese. Wearing socks to knee levels actually heighten attractiveness. I shall use maths to explain it to you.
Let d be the distance socks are away from thighs, while s is the sexiness of legs.
Attractiveness=(1/d)^2 + s
while,
sexiness of legs=length of legs/fatness of leg
The attractiveness is actually a bell-shaped curved. As it nears the knees it becomes more unattractive, but once it crosses the knee, the curve goes up again.
However a number of factors make this very unlikely in our circumstances:
The heat in Singapore makes it very unpractical to wear socks so high, as can be seen from the above equation.
Socks. Our school mandates students to wear school socks, which, frankly put, is quite a turn-off
Novelty. Doing something like this would be considered too novel, as anime culture has not permeated our country, so even if somebody does this, it may not be seen as sexy.

Today, I shall write about some CCAs. As I’m not in any of those CCAs, forgive me for any inaccurate portrayals.
One of the largest CCAs around is CO; however, it’s one of the most useless CCAs of all. I mean, what use do you have for learning ErHu or whatever? Be a fucking busker? However, I think, there is one great benefit from CO that comes from its apparent popularity, which is vastly increasing your social network. CO people come from all classes (both in the school sense and the social sense) which means you probably can get information, friends and more. A slight drawback is the segregation into groups of the various instruments.
NCC is actually quite a good CCA. One of my friends, who seems to enjoy doing calculus and chemistry, has NCC as a CCA. I think it’s the only physical activity he does in between on the comp and homework. It’s also quite beneficial for people who want to keep fit but do not enjoy sports or have time for it. The courses and trips are also good experiences for life.
The lack of a street soccer/football CCA disturbs me. Football is like, the truly global sport. Chinese played a version of it, the Aztecs played a version of it (it’s like playing basketball with your legs, iirc) Heard that there was such a CCA, but due to some reason or another it was disbanded. How disappointing.
I should know more about Netball, considering I came from a class with a good number of netball players. Unfortunately the only thing I knew about netball was that it had a lot of girls in them. Of course, sec3 changed that. I have to applaud netball players. It’s a very physical sport. Imagine if it allowed contact! It would be like a female-only version of football (in terms of physical demand and roughness). There would riots by displeased fans! Ahahaha
PROTIP: girls should wear short skirts while playing the sport. It dilates blood vessels of all males in a 350AOE by 20%, while increasing pulse rate by 15%, leading to massive blood loss through nasal passages.

The Atheist Wager(Countering Pascal’s Wager)
You should live your life and try to make the world a better place for your being in it, whether or not you believe in God. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind. If there is a benevolent God, he may judge you on your merits coupled with your commitments, and not just on whether or not you believed in him.

Had to do some lame CIP thing. Went to the grand audi with Hong Wei and infiltrated 3GR. Said hi to Kelly(more commonly known as keok fei or some other lame name) and got my leg kicked =.= Then she talked some crap about throwing me into space and pressure will make me burst and die or something. Sadistic, violent, Physics learning girl. Haiz…After the thing ended, went and ate cold dinner then played night netball. My head collided with Nigel’s cheek and I fell and injured my leg. FANTASTIC. Went for lame night walk, not scary at all. Hum here Hum there. Went home with Hong Ghwee(which was probably best part, imo). Sang(actually more of screamed) L-O-V-E, which walking to bus stop. Haha.
Big bump on my forehead ftl.

Speaking of the devil… >_< I was at the library surfing the net, and then I saw the phrase "Sheena Island" on wikipedia. So I was like 'lol' and went to eat chicken rice at canteen with Shawn.
As Shawn and I were going home, Shawn saw Sheena. She was with Gina Wong(aka Yellow Penguin) and Yu Rong. I was like “WHERE’S WEIBIN? WHY HE NOT WITH YOU? AHAHAHHA etcetc”. I lol-ed in real life and went home-
At least, that’s what I want to say, because there was an UNEXPECTED PLOT TWIST, OH SH-*dies*
Yup, unexpected plot twist, I didn’t go home happily. Sheena suddenly said “Where’s woani?” I was pretty sure she violated at least a few laws of the Universe in that one second. Since when was I, Jake, ever a target for such things? NEVER. That one moment probably ripped the Space-Time Continuum to shreds, and caused stars to explode and other rare phenomena.
Thinking back, I could’ve countered, but it probably wouldn’t matter anyway. I shouted “Fury hor!” but, alas, it was futile; I was a wounded gazelle on the Serengeti, and the hyenas locked on to me. Three girls vs. one poor guy, I stood no chance. (Shawn is a useless fuck.)
“woani, woani. Hey woani is behind etcetcetc” I ignored all of them, and finally made it to my sanctuary, the bus stop. Bus 31 came, and we boarded the bus. Who else would have also boarded the bus but that girl whose name was being repeated like, 10 mins ago. She was behind me after all.
Fury, hor.

Some people call it interaction, I call it grinding your levels, Whatever you call it, grinding is something you need to do in a RPG(or real life). The monsters in this RPG are called Great Idiots Ruining Life, Suckers(or girls for short)
Here are some of my thoughts on leveling up.
1. One does not grind on friends
Being with friends is one of passively(instead of aggresively) earning experience. It’s like a Priest buffing his
teammates and gaining skill points.
2. It’s good to be in a group if there’s a mob
Being in a party(or alliance etc.etc) makes it easier to approach a mob of monsters, who can
help and support eache other.
3. On the other hand, solo-ing is not a bad choice
Solo-ing means you can all the exp. for yourself, and bosses may be impressed when you can
handle a mob of 5-6 by yourself. Of course, make sure you’re the type of character who can solo mobs.
If you can’t even hold your own against 1 or 2, better to have buddies with you.

Ever wondered what the typical Girl On The Internet looks like? Wonder no more, for the wonderful Japanese has a full colour diagram of this rare species. Translated for your viewing pleasure.
This may have caused you to burn your eyes, so here’s a cute pic to counter it.

I just found out what I suffer from. An existential crisis.
“An existential crisis is a state of panic or feeling of intense psychological discomfort about questions of existence.”
” A sense of being alone and isolated,
The realization of one’s own mortality, or the belief that there is no afterlife; or
A realization that one’s life has no destined, supernatural, or in some cases external purpose or meaning.”
Sourced from wikipedia
It started when I read about death in the Science Center in Sec2 or Sec1, I think. Yeah, it was extremely depressing. I tried to distract myself by reading, playing dota and stuff, but sometimes it gets to me. Really feel like dying sometimes.
The way in which many people solve this problem is through religion, however, I can never bring myself to believe in fairy tales. I solved this in sec2, by pursuing knowledge, however in Sec3 it returns, with periods of knowledge and fulfillment interrupted by periods of emo-ness.
I NEED TO STOP THINKING TOO MUCH! ARGH!
Has anybody here even had a existential crisis too? Is there any permanent way of solving it?

Poets often use many words
To say a simple thing
But it takes thought and time and rhyme
To make a poem sing
With music and words I’ll be playin’
For you, I have written a song
To be sure that you know what I’m sayin’
I’ll translate as I go along
Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
Won’t you let me see what spring
Is like on Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, darling, kiss me
Fill my heart with song
And let me sing forevermore
‘Cause you are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you
In other words, please be true
(Please be true, I just want you to be true)
In other words, yeah yeah yeah yeah,
I love you
(I love you, I love you)
Oh oh
C’mon, just take me to the moon and back
Da da da da da da
Da da da da da yeah
