“And so, Hitler marched his troops into Austria to the cheers of the Austrians…” The teacher rambled on and on.
“Don’t tell anybody what you saw!” Mike whispered to Shi Jie.
“Why?”
“Never mind why. Just don’t!” Mike raised his voice and the teacher stopped his droning.
“What is it, Mike?”
“Nothing, nothing” He looked away, embarrassed.
Shi Jie wrote a few words on her notebook and showed it to Mike. “That girl on your phone looks like Class E’s Cassia.”
“So? I took that by accident.” Mike wrote back.
“Yeah, right.”
“Ok…I wouldn’t believe such a lame excuse myself >_<”
“Hahaha…>_<; You don’t have to hide it. Cassia’s quite the cute girl <3″ She continued writing. “How long have you had the charm?”
“First day.” Mike wrote back.
“What?! First day only?!” Cassia exclaimed. This time it was Cassia’s turn to look away as the class and teacher held an awkward silence. “Sorry, sorry! “
As Mike and Shi Jie continued with their conversation, a small green-eyed girl gazed stoically at the both of them from the table diagonally right from them.
