Today was racial harmony day. I lost my wallet. Let’s not talk about that. I shall now try to take off my glasses of bias and eyes of prejudice to judge the costumes worn by my classmates today. The best will be judged by their faces, how their costume and their body match and finally the costume itself.

1st: Barry
It was a close fight between Barry and Justin, but Barry eventually worn out due to the costume and Barry’s energy. It’s original, it’s bright without being overbearing and Barry’s body and personality fits it to a T.

2nd: Justin
Few people can pull of black as the tall, strapping Justin. With his constant smile and tall stature, his charm is infinite.

3rd: Jake
Nobody has come close to Barry and Justin, but I’ve finally managed to take my pick. Shaun was my choice, but I felt that his look made him look just that bit old. Jake’s clothes, although not very original, fitted his body quite well and showed off a mature side of him without being too old.

1st: Jessica Low
Not a very original outfit, but it looks good on her, and she is neither too “Chinese” to look weird in it nor does she look like ordinary.

Indian Lady

2nd: Alicia Chua
I think this was a surprise for me, but after consideration she actually fits the costume quite well, and has a kinda “specs appeal” thing to it. I guess any girl can look good if the right factors are there.

The costume was kinda bland, but I guess Cherie is just that imba to be cute in anything. (betcha she would look cute in a penguin costume or something. Haha)

Unfortunately, I have no solo pics of Cherie(F**k you, Weijie! You never take one of the best. So disappointing). Check the class blog or ferlin’s blog.

Notable mentions:
Ferlin for a outfit that blends well. Unfortunately she was just a tad too dark for it, and I felt the skirt wasn’t very ‘chinesey’. Otherwise, she has it made and would have been in the Top 3.

Wen Zhen for a nice outfit. But she just doesn’t have the face or the body. Sad.

Woan Ni. Again a nice outfit, but the colour doesn’t mesh well with her skin tone. But good effort overall.
