I am going to revamp it…a straight adaptation is a tad boring and so I’m gonna change some things around.

I guess I’m worse than Hollywood, rewriting things that have not even been completed!

Laughter

Went to NYJC’s talenttime last night, many a joke were had and shared. It was like a return to old times.

Saw a well-developed specimen of the female human, giving me an inexplicable high.

It was a night of nights and I couldn’t possibly describe it well enough in words.

Status of blog

Real life isn’t as romantic as my writings, what a pity.

Boy And Girl

The boy is laconic. The girl too, is not an extrovert.

However, the boy will occasionally tease the girl. The girl seems to be quite playful around the boy.

The girl plays with the boy’s plush. It doubles as a coin purse. She takes out the coins and plays with them. A coin drops and rolls into an unknown location. He looks more annoyed than he really is.

He pesters her for ice-cream. He wants a parfait, but the girl thinks otherwise. An ordinary cone from McDonald’s will suffice!

The girl grabs the boy’s wrist. She tries to take off his watch; he puts up a weak struggle. Eventually, the watch is on her wrist and she gazes at it, smiling. It’s too big for her, but she thinks it’s nicer on her anyways.

All too soon, its time to go. One can’t help but wonder, will this seed of friendship blossom into a flower of love?

Music

There was a study done on music tastes and it was found out that when alone a person’s favorite songs are pretty much random. However, when in a group, people tend to have the same fave as the others. What does this say? It shows the strong herd instincts of humans and that people follow what is popular instead of what they truly like.

What I reckon is that there are two types of pressure. One that works for groups, for example, all your friends like this latest sensation. While you may not really like it, you still says it’s good and listen to it because you justify that it is good before you listened to it.

Another would of course, be against it. Say, you dislike emos. You refuse to listen to music associated with emos due to this bias. Or perhaps you listen to indie bands only because mainstream is “crap rap”.

I would now like to advocate a more independent way of listening to music. Video surf youtube, browse music sites-try to find your own music instead of copying the musical taste of others.

Not enough chio J1s. There I said it. What goes around comes around. Haha. Yeah, my class isn’t exactly paradise, but that’s unavoidable with the small sample size (14girls in a class of 20, although I’ve now changed class).

Where have all the handsome guys gone? To Poly(examples as the Comely Looking Hunk) Hehe Actually SAJC has quite a few good looking guys from my point of view(examples include the Bukit Panjang Govt High guy who worked in Meritus Mandarin)
