COSPLAY BATTLE!
Who will win in this epic battle? All are professionals and so have been airbrushed and photoshopped to perfection. Now the question is, who has the “aura” of the character? (pictures resized, click to enlarge)
Character: Aisaka Taiga of Toradora fame

Filling my quota for “life story” posts
So a couple of days ago I was going to watch a movie with my classmates. I saw this well-dressed lady on the MRT. Then she totally ruined my impression when she took out like 8 World of Warcraft prepaid cards. She was in the leagues of Shaun and Thomas!
Alright. Prepare yourself for “who the hell do you think I am?!” inaugural(and probably only) Cosplay Battle. It’s simple. I post pics and you vote, and in the end one picture would be the champion.

For this battle, the subject is Nagato Yuki, the girl with grey hair in the screen shot above, from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. She’s popular among male fans for being an introverted book-reader(ie. submissive) and ability to kick serious ass(protect weak scrawny otaku). For cosplayers she is simple to cosplay, and the various outfits she has in official art means it’s easy to try different combos without losing on the recognition factor.
More pictures for you to see how you should choose the better cosplay.

The murder of the sutras and a cosplay pic
ok, after two updates of copy pasta, here’s a ‘real’ update.
Today went to give offerings to my grandparents. %$#@ing crowded. Then behind our spot were one aunties and one elderly woman, MURDERING THE SUTRAS. They weren’t chanting it. They were carrying out a massacre by nearly shouting it and in a terrible voice too.
So I whipped out my handphone and tried to drown them out with Orange Range and YUI. Still could hear them, but at least not so horrible.
Gah, that scene where the whole family prays in serenity at Kong Meng San in 黄金路 is a lie. In truth, it’s a dusty noisy hot place. Almost died back there. It happens all the time on special days. I hope they can put a system in place or something.
EDIT: Here’s a pic of pro cosplay(ie. people who get paid to do it since they’re so good.)
P.S. guess their gender!
